Gardener's Tips for January

Chilly January in the Garden

Stay warm! Visit us for seeds and coffee.

There's not much can be done in the garden in January as the soil is generally too wet and heavy to work. Walking on soggy soil just compacts it and makes it harder for roots and worms! One thing you can do if the weather is ok would be removing any rubbish and dead twigs blown from trees,

January is alwys a good time to think about the coming year's seeds and checking if you need to replace any garden equipment. While you're looking through the Nursery, call in our Tea Rooms for freshly brewed hot tea and coffee!
